My experience with Sterling Engineering and Crystal in particular, has been one of the most positive experiences I have had in dealing with recruiting companies! She has, from the beginning, given me a positive feeling about employment opportunities, my qualifications, realistic objectives and the current climate of company hiring policies. Crystal is one of the few people I have dealt with who, when she says she will keep me informed does, whether it is a good or not so good outcome. That is extremely refreshing as there is nothing worse than feeling like you are out on a limb and you don't know if you are going to fall or not because communication is infrequent at best. Crystal is a professional at her job but also incorporates a measure of empathy, interest and a personal touch that should be envied by all.

I am writing to thank Sterling Engineering and Mykl in particular. I have been working for my current employer for just over 11 years and had recently decided, for a variety of reasons; it was time to move on…. I went to the Sterling offices for an interview with Mykl and he helped me with some resume tips and boosted my confidence by praising my interviewing skills. Within a week Mykl had an interview set up for me, with others in waiting. The first two interviews went well, but for different reasons I decided the jobs wouldn’t be right for me. I was soon on my third interview, and left thinking it went very well and that this would be a great fit for me. Service Technician
I have been working with Sterling for a little over a week now and I have a job starting in two days. They did most of the elbow work and when I was interested in a job they told me when and where to be for an interview. When I had questions they got back to my voicemail or email in a very short amount of time. Upon getting hired, they explained about the company and things that were expected, they have even given me a handbook explaining my insurance and other benefits. I have been out of the military for about a week and a half and I already have a job. Sterling has definitely made my transition from military to civilian a lot easier than I expected.

Working for Sterling has been a really good experience for me. Before Sterling, I was working in a warehouse, up to 10 hours a day, no benefits, getting home tired, dirty, and at times in a bad mood… All of that changed in a matter of ten days. Now I’m sitting in my office, with my own phone line, with better pay, doing what I like, and most importantly, with an actual future ahead of me. I received a phone call from a Sterling representative on a Thursday asking to me to interview with him the following day. I did, everything went well… I was then given an interview the following Tuesday... I interviewed and was given the job the same day…. I realize the importance of Sterling in my situation. Having been out of work for almost four months, with few leads or call backs, I received a call from a Sterling representative. At first it sounded like a standard headhunters pitch, but after visiting the Sterling office, I found that these people looked at their job like it was a mission for them to get me employed. It was very encouraging to have somebody fighting for me, and lobbying me to several companies I didn't even know were hiring.
