Recruiting Team Leader

The Recruiting Team Leader will work with both Recruiters and Account Managers to verify that workloads are assigned properly, orders are prioritized and covered.  This person will need to have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task and the leadership skills to train and develop their team of recruiters.



  • Distribution of incoming orders to Recruiting Team based on strategic evaluations of individual workloads and abilities
  • Detailed interaction with Account Managers to confirm order requirements, order priority and delivery expectations
  • Establish a recruiting strategy with recruiters to maximize timely, effective and complete searches
  • Hands-on recruiting support for individual assigned orders and team priority and problem orders
  • Reinforce and monitor candidate qualifying processes and methodologies including in-office interviews, rate or salary history verifications and reference checking
  • Review and ensure appropriate and complete phone contact, interview and reference check documentation in database
  • Participate in candidate interviews as possible to verify candidate “soft” and “hard” skills fit for key customer orders
  • Assist in the negotiation and closing of candidate offers
  • Oversee employee orientations to ensure that required paperwork is completed properly and that new employees are advised about relevant company and benefit program information
  • Redistribution and/or assignment of orders to multiple recruiters as necessary to generate results
  • Coordination and tracking of job postings and classified advertising as required.
  • Pro-active efforts geared toward building personnel database based on assessment of ongoing problem orders and volume of demand in various technical areas



  • Minimum of 5+ years of related recruiting and management experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong work ethic and excellent communications skills
  • Proven record of successfully recruiting in a technical staffing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to train, develop, lead and motivate a small team of recruiters
  • Ability to prioritize team and company goals while maintaining individual performance expectations
