Illinois Institute of TechnologyOn February 23, 2012, Sterling Engineering’s Aurelija Cekalinas, Dean Gudeman, and John Creaney participated in the Illinois Institute of Technology Career fair with well over 1500 students and alumni present. Also attending were sponsors KCura, CN, Sargent and Lundy, Arcelor Mittal, International Titanium Powder, Paramed Medical Systems, and eClinicalWorks and over 140 companies and corporations including McDonalds Corp., Charles Schwab, Goldman Sachs, and Groupon.

Sterling Engineering’s booth featured their new graphic banners and promotional materials for attendees. Students and alumni were able to walk around and introduce themselves to the employers present. Sterling Engineering was fortunate to meet with many individuals, ranging from undergrad students to alumni with years of experience. The fields each individual desired ranged from machine designer to nanotechnology and aerospace. Every student present was ready with resumes and was eager to hear about opportunities Sterling Engineering had to offer.

Sterling Engineering has attended this event in the past and has yielded many fine and talented candidates. With many of the currently contracted Sterling Engineering employees having spent time at IIT, it is an event that they pay close attention to and will continue to look to for A+ individuals for their customers’ engineering and IT needs.
