COVID-19

Operation Warp Speed

The U.S. government’s “Operation Warp Speed” program focuses on developing a COVID-19 vaccine by January of 2021. Sterling Engineering has responded by assembling a Rapid Response Team of industry experts to contribute to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sterling deployed multiple teams to accelerate the production and automation of COVID-19 related PPP product production: rapid testing equipment, testing strips, packaging, equipment, sanitation, PPE masks, and vials for storing novel coronavirus vaccines and therapeutics. Sterling’s Project Management and GMP expertise was critical in helping clients rapidly scale up a variety of projects including design, automation, serialization, commissioning and validation… all of which are essential for meeting market demand within an accelerated timeframe.

These projects reflect the value that the Sterling companies bring to our clients in times of crisis. Together, Sterling Engineering and Sterling Staffing provide flexibility and partnership so our clients can pivot their strategies to meet supply chain demands and achieve time-to-market deadlines. Sterling is proud to move at an agile, nimble pace to achieve results in a fraction of the time it would take for many other companies.

We have rapidly mobilized our talented global resources to meet the demands of Operation Warp Speed. Thank you to our dedicated employees who have willingly stepped forward and are working tirelessly to support the fight against COVID-19.

If there is a silver lining that we have witnessed many times throughout this pandemic, it is being part of a culture where so many people come together with their skills and commitment to support the greater good. Everyone’s role matters, and this has made us stronger and more appreciative of our community.
