Second place entry will receive a $100 gift card and have an honorable mention in our feature article online!

We are looking for original artwork that fits a holiday theme, with an engineering twist!

RULES

This contest is open to current Sterling contract employees only.

Entries are not limited, multiple submissions are allowed. The artwork of the winning entry will be used on this year’s holiday greeting card from Sterling.

Artwork may not make reference to specific religious holidays.

Artwork should include images or photographs that would suit a holiday card and that have an engineering theme. These are no specific guidelines on this, be creative!

Artwork must be original and not violate any copyrights or Intellectual Property agreements.

This contest is to determine artwork only; words or copy should not be included in final submissions.

 

Design Specifications

Basic Layout Information:

Card size: The final card design is 7.625″ x 5.625″ (.0625″ bleed)
7″ x 5″ will be the final trimmed down size.

Images: Please provide a digital copy of your submission in the highest resolution possible. (At least 300 dpi)

Accepted Digital Formats: .psd .ai .jpg .png .pdf
Emailed files should be no larger than 20mb.

Artwork that does not meet the resolution and quality requirements may not be considered.

 

How to Enter

Artwork may be submitted electronically via email.

All entries must include full name, current work assignment, phone number and email address.

Submissions should be emailed to holidaycard@sterling.oordinate.com

 

Reproduction Rights

Sterling Engineering, Inc. will retain all reproduction rights to submitted artwork. Artists agree to assign all copyrights for the artwork to Sterling Engineering Inc. Entries must be original in concept and work and not violate any artist or copyright laws.

The winning artwork may be modified for production purposes.
A selection of submissions will be featured in various announcements on the Sterling Website and Social Media.

 

Judging

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges in the Sterling Marketing and Management teams.

Art will be judged based on artistic merit and creativity. The winner will be notified by email or phone.

 

Award

1st Prize may choose one prize from the following list of options:

  • American Express Gift Card – $300 Value

 

2nd Prize:

Winners will be announced 12pm CST, Friday October 26, 2018
